Why does mirtazapine make you gain weight? Is it just because it increases appetite? - mirtazapine more drug_warnings_recalls

I was prescribed Mirtazapine to help 15 mgs to sleep. Will I gain weight? I know that many drugs, just because of weight gain because the increase in the hunger / appetite ... it is run the same for them, or the drug itself directly to weight gain?
